Hi! I'm Emily, your crafty go to girl. I love all things crafty! I enjoy sewing, scrapbooking, photography, card making, DIY projects, home decor, photo projects, personalized gifts, stamping, jewelry making and just about anything that involves creativity. I run a small Etsy shop called paperpixie crafts. I also have my products in several local shops. I am slowly but surely extending my line of products. My goal is to start filling up my Etsy shop and then eventually open a local boutique. Luckily, I have a wonderful husband who can tolerate my craft obsession, and a great family who is always supportive of my goals. This blog is a sneak peek in to my life and my creative thoughts. I'll be sure to keep you posted with all the cool stuff I see along my crafty journey. Thanks for reading!

Panama City was a nice change of pace for us. We had a great time. Dylan and I went with my parents and little sister. We stayed in a Fabulous condo and had a wonderful time enjoying the beach.
Happy birthday Katie and Happy Spring Break to me!
St Andrews state park, Saint Andrews bay, and snorkeling on the Island Time ( In the gulf of Mexico- Just off Shell Island), was the highlight of our trip. Here is my picture happy overview of our trip. Enjoy ( =

First Show!

I contemplated doing an arts and craft show for several months before deciding to give it a try. After many late nights of planning and creating we attended the 2nd Annual, Friday and Saturday, Arts & Crafts Expo at Walnut Square Mall in Dalton, GA.
The expo was MUCH different that we had planned for, but nevertheless we learned alot about how to prepare for a show, and a little bit about what to expect.
THANK YOU SO MUCH to my friend Wendy for all late night crafting and early morning table dragging. ( =
I can't wait to set up at another show soon. I'm on the hunt for the latest and greatest (simi-local) events for craft vendors, any suggestions?

Happy Birthday Katie!

Katie turned 15 today! Clear the road! This year we decided that we would take Katie to Panama City for her birthday, after "fidgeting" with everyone's work/ school schedule the soonest date we could book a condo was the 2 weeks AFTER her birthday. So we had a small family birthday party for her on her real birthday. After the the candles were blown out... the immediate question was... When are you going to get your driving permit?!? It hadn't really crossed mom's mind that this was the year Katie get's to start driving.
I took it upon myself to give her first driving lesson. A short "at home drivers ED briefing," (AKA: don't go over 20 MPH, heres the brake, and PLEASE don't wreak my car) we were off.
We choose a dirt road and began to pray for our life ( =
For a first timer, she did ok. She can barely see of the steering wheel, and she's REALLY skittish about oncoming cars, but loves playing "my favorite light" (She's a fan of BRIGHT LIGHTS- bright lights, regular lights, bright lights, regular lights, BLINKER?!?!? WHERE'S THAT?!? ( =
We are FAR from driving on a REAL road, but we'll start working on it more often, and hopefully she'll be a pro in no time. ( =
HAPPY BIRTHDAY KATIE!
